Women's Health: In this modern world, it is important for a women's to remain healthy. Women's should eat fruits and vegetables which are rich in minerals and vitamins because it reduce the risk of breast cancer and other diseases. Smoking and drinking is injurious for her health because if a women is pregnant, it put a negative impact on her baby. It is very important for her to remain fit, to lose her weight by doing regular exercise. Drinking enough water prevent her from dehydration.

Men's Health: Men's health is equally important as women's health. Good health is a key for happy life. So a person should adopt a simple life style. Natural and simple lifestyle makes a person to feel better, to live better and to look better. Adopting that balanced diet which is rich in nutrition and low in calories makes a man physically and mentally fit. Men's diet is more than women's diet because they have much more capacity to eat than women's. A man who eat broiled fish, chicken and low fats products has a less risk of Alzheimer disease. Regular exercises, avoid drinking and smoking reduces the risk of dying of heart diseases.


Children's Health: Parents should know the basics to keep their child physically and mentally healthy. They should give proper food to their child and get a regular checkup from doctor. They should also take care that their child must get enough sleep and do exercise regularly. Some of the health tips that every parent should give to their child are as follows:
1.Increase water intake.
2.Exercise regularly
3.Read books.
4.Eat nutritious food
5.Trust in god.

Health over 50: Aging is a normal part of life and elderly population is increasing day by day because they play active role in maintaining their own health. Communities offer many programs for promoting senior health and company also offer in-home personal care services. Meals-on-wheels program is for elderly people who are not able to make their own food. Nutritious and healthy food is delivered to their home either for free or on sliding scale. Exercise and yoga strengthen their body and make them to live longer life. Regular visits to the doctor also help them to free from diseases.

Environmental Pollution and Its Control

Environmental Pollution: Contaminants present in an environment which causes harm to our ecosystem and human health is called pollution. Pollutants are the elements of pollution basically called foreign substances that pollutes air, water or soil. There are many forms of pollutions which include air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, soil pollution and thermal pollution

Air pollution: Substance present in air that cause harm to humans and the environment which can be in the form of solid particles, liquid and gases. Pollutants can either primary or secondary. Primary pollutants directly emitted from a volcanic eruption and secondary pollutants does not emitted directly but they emit when primary pollutants reacts with other substances in air. Air pollution which causes asthma, pneumonia and other lower respiratory infections in our body. Air pollution is due to smoke of power plant, dust, fuel-burning substances, motor vehicles and volcanic eruptions

Water pollution: Water pollution present in water bodies such as lakes, river, oceans and ground water .Contaminants which include organic and in-organic substances present in water leading to pollution. Organic substances include detergents, insecticides, petroleum, volatile compound, disinfection products and cosmetic product. In-organic substances includes ammonia, acidity, fertilizers and industrial by products.

Noise pollution: Unwanted sound that disturb the balance of human life. Physiological and psychological health is damaged by noise pollution. It causes aggression, high stress, sleep disturbances and hyper tension. It is due to loud speaker, roadway noise, aircraft noise and industrial noise.

Soil pollution: Soil pollution is caused by man-made chemicals or due to some natural phenomenon. Mostly, it is due to the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, agricultural runoff waters, industrial waste materials, acidic precipitates, and radioactive fallout. Soil gives us organic and in-organic substances and they both are very essential for health of human beings. Headache, physical fatigue, eye irritation and skin rash are due to soil pollution.

Control:

Air pollution can be controlled by using electrostatic air cleaner device which filters and remove particulate matter such as dust and smoke from the air.

Water pollution can be controlled by reducing the velocity ,pollutant discharges , low of storm water. It can be treated by municipal facilities and storm water management facilities.

Noise pollution can be controlled by using noise barrier, limitation of vehicle speeds and use of traffic controls.

Soil pollution can be controlled by planned urbanization, safe disposal, safer land use, controlled developmental activities and recovery of resources like metals, plastics, etc for recycling and reuse.
